Large properties
A manor house, a farm, a residence with outbuildings or a small apartment block: when several uses add up in the evening and overnight, a large reserve limits dependence on the grid during those hours. It does not excuse you from analysing your habits, because a high capacity is only worthwhile if your panels actually fill it.
Activities with steady consumption
A gym, a workshop, a small hotel or a farm business may see it as a way to move consumption into the hours without sun. The sizing must be confirmed by an installer.
Logistics of a system this size
Six items to move, including a 73 kg main unit: it is wiser to plan arrival and placement well in advance, deciding beforehand who will help carry, which stairs or doors must be passed and whether lifting aids are needed. Choose a spot whose access lets these loads through, preferably sheltered and ventilated. Stricter safety for a large amount of energy
The larger the capacity, the more rigorous you must be. Do not exceed the stated power values; use only cables sized with a margin; keep children and uninformed people away. Open no module. Keep a suitable extinguisher near the room, following a professional’s recommendations.
Long-term upkeep
Schedule a check at regular intervals: cleanliness, condition of cables, fixings, traces of moisture. Wi-Fi monitoring can reveal unusual behaviour, within the limits of the functions the manufacturer describes. If the system is left unused for a long time, the manual states the charge level to respect.
