An everyday cable in a one-metre format
This Xtorm Original cable connects the USB socket of a charger, a computer or a power bank to a device fitted with a Lightning connector. At one metre long it is a versatile link: long enough to reach a socket without pulling on the phone, short enough not to tangle on a desk. It comes in black.
Who uses it, and where
At home
It is often left permanently on the bedside table, in the kitchen or beside the sofa, so that a phone or earbuds can be charged without hunting for a cable. A second one in the bag avoids leaving it behind when travelling.
In a business setting
In a shop, a practice or a workshop, it equips the stations where Lightning devices are recharged between tasks. Its limited length makes it easier to set up a tidy, uniform charging point.
Product design
The information available gives the brand Xtorm, the Original range, a length of one metre and the black colour. It does not detail the maximum charging power, the data transfer speed or the sheath material. We therefore claim none of these: for those points, refer to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Getting started
Connecting it needs no tools. A few steps are enough:
- Insert the USB end into the charger, computer or power bank.
- Push the Lightning connector into the device, straight and without force.
- Check that the device shows that it is charging.
- Unplug by holding the plugs, never by pulling on the cable itself.
Before buying, make sure your device really uses a Lightning connector and that your source has a USB port of the matching type.
Strong points
- One-metre length, balanced between reach and bulk.
- Understated black finish that blends into a desk setting.
- Xtorm Original range, from a clearly identified brand.

Safety
Do not use a cable whose sheath is cut, whose plugs are bent or which gets unusually hot. Avoid folding it sharply near the connectors, trapping it under furniture or leaving it in a damp place. Do not put it under a pillow or blanket while charging. Pay attention to how the cable lies when people walk past, since a tug on a lead can pull a device off a table.
Care and storage
Clean the plugs with a dry cloth if dust builds up. To put it away, coil it in a wide loop rather than knotting it. Keep it in a dry place at a moderate temperature.
A few tips on organising
A one-metre cable easily finds a place in a bag pocket, a car console or a desk drawer. If several similar cables live in the house, mark this one with a small coloured tie so that devices do not get mixed up.
