Why add a battery to your system
Zendure’s AB3000L module is designed to join a storage setup from the same brand. By contributing an extra 60Ah/2880Wh, it helps you get through the night, a cloudy day or a power cut with more margin. The manufacturer states in its documentation which units it works with; check this point before planning anything.
Principle of use
The module plugs into the main unit, which manages the flow of energy. You do not operate it yourself: its job is to extend the amount of energy the system can hold.
Households, shared buildings, professional activity
A house with solar panels benefits from being able to use in the evening what was produced at noon. A small commercial space, such as a workshop, a practice or a holiday cottage, can use it to smooth out consumption. A balcony or garden fitted with a small solar generator may also be part of the project, subject to compatibility.
What the device is made of
The cells are of the LiFePO₄ type. The stated operating range is -20° C~60° C, which covers a wide range of situations, and weather protection is IP65. The case measures 394 x 257 x 283 mm and weighs 26.3 kg, a volume that fits into a garage recess or against a wall.
Setting up
- Choose a wall or floor that will durably carry 26.3 kg.
- Leave room for the cables without bending them sharply.
- Avoid placing the unit in a flood-prone area, even with an IP65 rating.
- Have a qualified installer handle the connection to the household network.
Arguments in favour of this module
Its 2880Wh capacity comes in a format barely wider than a large cardboard box. The IP65 rating, the wide temperature range and the LiFePO₄ chemistry point to fixed, long-term use. It remains an add-on: its performance depends on the main unit you choose.

Safety precautions
Keep the module within its temperature range and away from flames or very hot surfaces. Use only cables intended for this purpose and check their condition before any work. A damaged case, a swollen one, or one that is damp inside must be taken out of service and examined by a professional.
Care and keeping it put away
Simply wipe the case with a clean, dry cloth after unplugging the unit. Check from time to time that the connectors are clean and pushed in fully. If the module is to stay switched off for several months, consult the manual for the recommended charge level, then keep it in a mild, dry room.
