A storage project in four stages
This bundle is aimed at people who want to build a large reserve of solar electricity: the Zendure SolarFlow 2400 AC+ forms the core and four AB3000L batteries complete it. The whole reaches 13.92 kWh. Here is one way to approach it.
Stage 1: assess your needs
Note what your household or premises consumes after dark. That figure, far more than any catalogue number, decides the useful size of the reserve.
Stage 2: prepare the location
The main unit measures 326 × 294 × 251 mm and weighs 27.8 kg. You will need room for it and for the four batteries, plus a stable, clean support. The manufacturer lists an IP65 rating; for any special exposure, refer to its manual.
Stage 3: connect
Work touching the building’s electrical installation is a job for a qualified installer. Have them check that your panels and current equipment suit this system.
Stage 4: monitor and adjust
After commissioning, watch a few weeks of operation before drawing conclusions about how the reserve behaves.
Where this bundle fits
- A large family house with sizeable evening needs.
- A guest house or holiday let that regularly welcomes travellers.
- A workshop, small office or farm that wants to spread its consumption better.
In every case the same rule applies: start from your real consumption and let the reserve follow it, not the other way round.
Three questions before choosing
Does my roof produce enough? A 13.92 kWh reserve is only useful if the panels can recharge it; an installer can evaluate your likely output.
Is my current equipment compatible? The data sheet does not detail compatibilities, so confirm them with the manufacturer before going further.
Where will all of it go? Five elements to house call for a dry, ventilated room that is easy to reach for inspections, with enough clearance to work around the units.
What the data contains
The battery is of the LiFePO4 type. The main unit shows 2400 Wh, and the whole bundle 13.92 kWh. The stated temperature range runs from -20°C to 55°C and weather protection is rated IP65. The maker behind the set is Zendure.

Precautions for use
Respect the limit values the manufacturer gives, use cables of suitable cross-section and never cover the elements. Poor ventilation or loose connections are well-known sources of trouble in storage systems, so an occasional visual check is advisable.
Cleaning and laying up
A dry cloth removes dust from the casing. Do not use solvents. If you must interrupt use for months, follow the manual’s guidance on the charge level to leave and on where to keep the equipment, preferably dry and sheltered from frost.
