Reading the numbers before you buy
The name of this kit contains two numbers that are often confused. The 2400 in SolarFlow 2400 Pro points to the main unit, whose battery is listed at 2400 Wh; the 11.04 kWh is the capacity of the full bundle with the three AB3000L batteries. A capacity is expressed in watt-hours or kilowatt-hours and tells you how much energy is stored, whereas a power figure, like the 2.4 kW in the title, says how fast that energy can flow.
Why the distinction matters
Two installations with the same capacity do not behave alike if their power figures differ. Before choosing, compare the power your home calls for at busy hours with what the system can supply, and ask an installer for advice.
Applications
In a private home, the kit helps move part of the daytime electricity into the evening. In a professional setting, a clinic, a boutique or a small workshop might consider it to narrow the gap between generation and consumption. The data names no particular application; these examples are general leads.
Known design elements
- Battery technology: LiFePO4.
- Weather protection: IP65.
- Temperature range: from -20°C to 55°C.
- Main unit: 326 × 294 × 251 mm, at 27.8 kg.
Nothing more is stated and we add nothing: connectors, communication functions and compatibilities should be checked in the documentation from the manufacturer, Zendure.
Why a complete kit
Taking the main unit and the batteries as one set removes the question of which parts go together, since everything is presented as a whole. It does not replace reading the manufacturer’s documentation: that describes the operating limits, the precautions and the configuration steps which a summarised data sheet leaves out. Take time as well to note the future position of each element, its weight and the cable route before the equipment arrives at your home.
Placement and commissioning
Begin by preparing the site: a flat, solid surface away from heat sources and direct water spray. Set down the main unit, then position the three batteries close by, keeping access clear. Cables should be good quality and of reasonable length, without strain. The link to the building’s installation is a matter for an authorised professional. Once everything is running, watch its behaviour during the first days.

Caution
Home storage concentrates a lot of energy. Respect the manufacturer’s limits, avoid any modification of the equipment, do not pile objects on the housings and regularly check for signs of impact or abnormal dampness. If in doubt, take the unit out of service and consult a specialist.
Keeping it
Dust with a dry cloth. For a long shutdown, the manufacturer’s manual explains how to prepare the batteries and under which conditions to put them away.
