A long USB-C to Lightning link
This Xtorm Original cable combines a USB-C connector and a Lightning connector over 3 m. It suits anyone with a charger, computer or battery that has a USB-C output and who wants to power a Lightning device without sticking close to the source. It is the long version of the same principle as the one-metre models: you gain reach at the cost of a somewhat heavier lead, 101 g according to the data sheet.
Usage scenarios
Living room, bedroom, conservatory
Stretched out on a sofa, settled in bed or sitting in an armchair away from the socket, you keep your phone charged while using it. Families also appreciate that a child can watch a video without standing next to the wall.
Workshop, shop, motorhome
A craftsperson can leave a reading or messaging device on the bench while the source sits on the other side. In a motorhome or converted van, the cable links a USB-C output to a distant bunk. For professional use in a shop, it powers a reader behind a counter without piling up extension leads.
What the data sheet says
Length 3 m, weight 101 g, woven nylon sheath, white colour, Xtorm brand. No power value, speed or precise compatibility is supplied; for fast-charging needs, consult the manual of the device and the charger. A great length can also affect the real speed of an exchange: draw no conclusion without testing.
Laying and organising
- Choose the route before plugging in: along a wall, a worktop or a door frame.
- Connect the USB-C end to the source, then the Lightning end to the device.
- Keep the excess in a loose loop, held with a tie.
Do not let spare length trail on the floor, where it can catch on chair legs.
What the product adds

Is 3 m the right length for you?
Three metres is a lot of cable, and it is worth asking whether you really need it. If the socket is within an arm’s reach, a one-metre model will be lighter and tidier. If you must cross part of a room, the longer lead removes the need for an extra extension. Consider where the surplus will go, and make sure it does not end up under furniture legs.
Safety precautions
Make sure the length does not become a trap for feet: secure it or go around walkways. Do not wind it tightly while it is charging, do not trap it under a door, and respect the limits of the connected devices. Stop using it if the sheath deteriorates.
Care and storage
Make wide, alternating loops and hold them with a soft tie. Clean with a barely damp cloth and dry before putting away. Keep it away from excessive heat, for example out of the glove box of a vehicle parked in the sun.
