From panel to station: the lead that completes the solar chain
A portable power station recharges its battery from photovoltaic panels if a suitable cable joins them. This EcoFlow solar charging cable fills that role: at one end it takes the panels’ connector, and at the other it plugs into the station’s charging input. At 3.5 m, it gives some latitude to point the panels at the sun while the station stays in shade or shelter.
The manufacturer data we hold specifies neither the permissible voltage or current nor the list of compatible stations and panels. Consult the EcoFlow manual before connecting.
A range of uses
For leisure and the home
Camping, boating, motorhome, garden shed or balcony: wherever one or more panels are set up near a portable station, a 3.5 m lead brings the production closer to the battery. It is useful for preparing a backup supply that does not depend on the grid.
For professionals
On a remote site, a market stall or a measurement point, the combination of panel, cable and station provides a self-contained energy source. A technician will gladly carry a spare lead, since a damaged link interrupts all solar charging.
What the data says about the design
Only the brand and the 3.5 m dimension are supplied. The conductor cross-section, the exact connector type at each end and weather resistance are not specified; do not infer them, and check compatibility with your panels.
Setting up
- Place the panels in an open area, facing the sun.
- Put the station in shade, in a ventilated and stable spot.
- Connect the cable to the station first, then to the panels, or follow the sequence given in the manual.
- Route the cable without stretching it or leaving it in a walkway.
- For any connection to a fixed installation, seek the advice of a qualified installer.
Strengths
- 3.5 m length, useful for separating panels and station.
- Made by a manufacturer of portable power stations.
- Simple lead that slips easily into a storage bag.
Technical specifications
- Brand: EcoFlow

Safety
Panels exposed to light produce current as soon as they are connected: handle the connectors carefully and do not touch bare contacts. Respect the voltage and current limits in the manual and never force a connector. As no protection rating is given, avoid leaving the couplings in water or in driving rain. Replace any cable with a split sheath.
Care and storage
Unplug the cable before storing it, wipe it if damp or dusty, then coil it in wide loops without tight folds. Keep it dry, at a moderate temperature.
Checking the useful length
Measure the distance between the panels’ position and the station’s, allowing for detours. If it exceeds 3.5 m, a longer link cable, or moving the elements closer, will be needed.
