Choosing a 12 V AGM battery
An AGM battery is a lead-acid battery with an absorbed electrolyte, here in VRLA technology, meaning it is valve-regulated. The two models differ in capacity: 33 Ah for 396 Wh, or 50 Ah for 600 Wh, both figures obtained by multiplying amp-hours by 12 V. This type of battery does not replace a lithium battery in every situation: its use depends on the discharge accepted, the weight tolerated and the lifespan expected, points to check on the product page.
First estimate the energy you need by adding up the power of your devices and how long you run them. Then confirm that your system voltage is 12 V and that the planned location can take the battery’s dimensions. Finally check the associated charger or controller, which must be suitable for this type of battery. Every order comes with the 2-year legal warranty, explained on the warranty and after-sales page.
