More capacity around the same unit
This version in the Solix range uses the Solarbank 3 E2700 Pro, but in a 10.8 kWh configuration. The main unit alone provides 2688Wh; expansion batteries then increase the reserve. The manufacturer cites two families of expansion batteries, the BP1600 and the BP2700, with different capacity ceilings, which should be read carefully in the data sheet before putting the set together.

A reserve of this size suits a household that wants to cover a good part of its evenings with its own production, or a small business space whose consumption is concentrated after the sun leaves the panels. The 2.4 kW power serves as a reference to judge compatibility with your appliances. No precise gain can be announced: it depends on the production and uses of each site.

The model lends itself to growth in capacity by steps, which avoids oversizing from the start.

The main unit measures 460 x 254 x 279 mm and weighs 29.2 kg. Its IP65 rating corresponds to outdoor protection; it can be used from −20 °C to +55 °C and up to an altitude of 4000m. Expansion batteries add their own weight and volume: measure the available space while taking into account the height of the stacked whole.
Connection steps

Stated charging times
From the mains, 1200W without expansion battery (or BP2700) takes about 2.3 h. Through the photovoltaic input, 1800W without expansion battery requires about 90 min. With BP2700 batteries, charging at 3600W via mains and photovoltaic ranges from 90 min with one expansion battery to 4.5 h with five expansion batteries. These durations are manufacturer indications and depend on real conditions.

Usage precautions
Do not exceed the stated output and input limits. A heavy device should be handled by two people. Keep it away from flammable materials, do not cover it and do not open it. Electrical connections are a job for a professional.
Care and putting away
Dust with a dry cloth and check the connectors from time to time. If the installation is switched off for many months, follow the manufacturer’s instructions regarding the charge state to observe.
