The idea: storage you plug in like a household appliance
EcoFlow’s STREAM AC Pro is a LiFePO4 battery module that the specification presents as plug and play, through a 230V wall socket and an EcoFlow or Shelly smart meter. On the generation side it pairs with a microinverter: the photovoltaic input is given as 1200W max. via 2x 600W external MPPT. The specification adds that the input data apply only with EcoFlow’s 800W microinverter.
Use cases
Flat or house with balcony panels
The afternoon surplus, which would otherwise go to the grid, is set aside and given back when the home consumes more. The output reaches 800W max. through a Schuko EU socket.
Small business premises
A shop, workshop or practice can use it to run a few devices in the evening. Rated off-grid power is 1200W, and 2300W with the parallel terminal mentioned in the specification.
Scalability
The 1920Wh capacity can reach 11520Wh with 5 expansion units, from among the STREAM Ultra, STREAM Pro and STREAM AC Pro models. AC recharge is 1050W max. per unit, about 1.8 h. With panels, 1200W via PV with no expansion unit takes about 1.4 h.
Construction
The enclosure measures 255 × 254 × 458 mm and weighs 21,5 kg. It is outdoor-protected to IP65, operates from −20 °C to +55 °C and tolerates a working humidity of 5 %-95 %. The noise level is 30 dB, an asset if the unit sits near a living area. The battery is quoted for 6000 cycles to 70%.

- Place the unit on a flat surface, away from knocks.

Safety

Care
A dry cloth is enough to clean the enclosure. For a long shutdown, refer to the manual. Inspect the plug, the cable sheaths and the mounting from time to time, and keep the vents and surfaces free of dust, leaves and debris, especially when the unit stands outdoors.
