The Flush variant of the Nordic, designed for fixed mounting
This version of the SUNBEAMsystem Nordic differs from its twin in two details: it has no fixing eyelets and its output is a 1.5 m Flush cable. It is therefore a flexible 104 W panel meant to stay in place on its support, for example bonded or built into a dedicated assembly, rather than being moved from spot to spot.
Contexts of use
On a van, a motorhome or a caravan, a permanent flat fit on a roof calls for a thin, light module. On a boat, the panel follows the deck or the cabin top. For professional use, you might consider it on the roof of a light technical shed or on mobile equipment that needs to remain independent in energy. It is wise to ask the vehicle or structure manufacturer for advice before bonding anything.
Cells and shell
The panel combines SunPower monocrystalline cells, with a stated efficiency of 22.5%, with a flexible plastic shell. It is described as fully weather resistant. Its format of 106 x 54 cm and its weight of 2 kg limit the load added to the roof.
Mounting principles
With no eyelets, fixing relies on a method suited to the surface: bonding with a product designed for the materials concerned is the most common solution. Clean and degrease the area, respect the curing times given by the adhesive manufacturer, then lay the module without twisting it. The Flush cable is 1.5 m long: before fitting, identify the route it will take to the controller, without pinching or crushing the conductor. The connector type at the end of the cable is not specified: check it and plan for the right adapter. Have any connection to a household network carried out by a qualified installer.

Cautions
Before bonding, make sure the surface tolerates the product and the load. Do not bend the panel sharply, do not walk on it and protect the cable from abrasion. Respect the maximum values of your controller and do not touch the contacts when connecting in daylight.
Routine care
Run a soft, damp cloth over the surface regularly. Check adhesion at the edges and the condition of the cable at each change of season. If the module is taken down, it should be stored flat in a dry place.
