Safety and upkeep
An illuminated module is live: do not let the cable terminals touch a metal object. The controller must accept an open-circuit voltage of 21.70 V. Avoid folding the panel sharply or walking on it unless the manufacturer says otherwise. To clean it, use clear water, a soft sponge and air drying. If you remove it for the winter, keep it flat in a dry place with nothing resting on it. Check the cable and its insulation each season before reconnecting everything, and replace any damaged part.
