Choosing a mains charger
Wattage determines what you can charge: 20 to 30 W is enough for a phone, 65 W suits a tablet or small laptop, and 100 to 140 W targets more demanding computers. GaN chargers stay more compact and lighter at equal power.
Then think about ports: a USB-C PD output for recent devices, a USB-A for older accessories, and two outputs if you charge two devices at once. The Xtorm travel models offer several plug types, useful outside Belgium. For a trip, consider a two-output model rather than several small bricks: one charger then recharges the phone and the tablet at the same time. Delivery is free from €150, otherwise €9.90, and the 2-year legal warranty applies.
