How to choose a smart meter
A smart meter measures what your home consumes so that a battery or power station can adjust its output to real needs. The first criterion is your electrical grid: single-phase or three-phase. The second is whether you have a communicating meter with a P1 port, which some modules in this category are able to read.
These devices serve a specific purpose: they feed information to a storage system of the same brand. Before adding a model to your basket, check the product page to confirm it matches the brand and generation of your battery, and that its casing fits inside your electrical cabinet. If you are torn between two references, compare their dimensions and weight: some casings weigh only a few dozen grams, while others are bulkier. For any question before buying, our contact page lets you write to us, quoting the model of your battery, and we will check the match with you.
